Why Find a Buyers or Vendor Advocate at All?
The philosophy of the property industry is push until you get push back. The real estate sales model isn’t really geared to allow that people know their own minds.
It’s a machine that sees unwary buyers and vendors who fumble around without skilled property advisors spending needlessly on inspections, paperwork, advertising; fretting about making life-changing decisions. Meanwhile the agent needs that signature on the page daily, weekly, monthly.
Old school selling, high pressure and last minute decision making on a deadline is still very common. Confidence is key to being successful in sales, but every agent always saying that you will get the best price through them is a farcical proposition, they can’t all be ‘the best’
Here’s what Dominic had to say:
“Being new to the home buying process, I began working with Kirk in order to both have an advocate on our side and learn more about the mystifying world of "buying a home". Kirk expertly took us by the metaphorical hand and guided us through the treacherous waters of first home buying at auction. He provided kindness, strength and understanding when dealing with my need for complete information on demand.
He is also an expert bidder and - by watching Kirk in action and by listening to his advice - I became confident enough to bid on and win our first home at auction. I began the journey with Kirk with zero knowledge and ended our first chapter with confidence.
I can highly recommend him as an Advocate and as an honourable ally – and I look forward to Chapter Two!
